Selling at Art in the Age

We are now selling our products at Art in the Age store in old city on 3rd and Arch! Check out our stuff! On the 23rd were doing a workshop at the store from 6-8. Checkout the Art in the Age blog to RSVP.

These are the new perfume oils we have created. We created one specifically for Art in the Age that has a rustic woody/mossy scent. Our other scents are called Trees and Soil and Wood burning Stove. Stop in the store and check them out!

Our show Sustaining Spring just ended and it was very successful! First fridays are super packed in Art in the Age!

We are doing a workshop with Greener Partners for their Lost Arts series!

Natural Dyes

Presenters: Mira Adornetto and Elissa Meyers

Workshop description: Learn the basics of dying natural fibers with natural dyes made from plants. We will demonstrate preparing the fabric, making the dye, the act of dying and setting the dye. You will get to dye your own hankie!

On May 14, we are part of another show. This one is jewelry specific; The Arc of Hunterdon County Jewelry show. We will be selling our Apothecary necklaces filled with old dyestuff. Come if you can!

These apothecary necklaces are filled with indigo pigment. The pigment settles at the bottom and separates from the rest of the liquid. When stirred or shaken it becomes much like a mini indigo vat. A real vat must be stirred each day.

First friday Exhibition at ART IN THE AGE

This coming first friday… MAY 6…. we are part of the exhibition at Art in the Age store in old city on 3rd and Arch.
